Several hundred new high-specification homes along the banks of the Grand Union Canal are breathing new life into a west London location.  Phase 3 of the Brentford Lock West regeneration project has been approved, including proposals for 452 new homes, commercial and retail spaces, and new community facilities.  Transport and travel planning advice was provided by Motion for the award-winning development, as well as design and management of the S278 highway works for an earlier phase of the scheme.

Motion successfully demonstrated that the proposals would not be detrimental to the operation of the local highway network.  A new bridge across the Grand Union Canal will link the development to the Robin Grove Recreation Ground, improving connections to Brentford railway station for pedestrians and cyclists.

The homes offer stylish living in a highly desirable location.  The development is close to shops, leisure facilities, parks and waterside walkways.  Works have also included basement car parking, footpath and towpath enhancements and landscaping.
