Data subject privacy notice

Motion holds some or all of the following information on professionals who are active in the UK property development sector:

  • Title
  • Name
  • Company name
  • Company address
  • Business telephone number and/or mobile
  • Email address

This information has been obtained from you, your business team or publicly available sources, such as company websites. All data is encrypted and stored in accordance with the latest security measures.

The details are used to send communications by post and email in order to keep you updated with news about our company, people and projects. We believe the content of the communications will be relevant and of interest to you or your team.

Motion applies legitimate interests as the lawful basis for processing your personal data for postal mailings, and where permitted, for email communications, if consent has not previously been given. No profiling or automated decision making is carried out.

Your data will be held for as long as it is relevant for these communications to be sent to you in your role as a professional working in the development sector, or you ask for your details to be removed.

Postal and email communications are distributed by our contractors, with whom we have data processing/information security agreements. These agreements stipulate that data are:

  • handled in a secure manner
  • only used for the specified purpose
  • deleted once the mailing has been fulfilled

Your data is never shared with third parties unless we are required to do so by law.
