Tickford Mews

Tickford Mews is an appealing collection of 73 new homes with associated car parking in Newport Pagnell. Motion was instructed to implement a Travel Plan as stipulated in the planning condition and Section 106 Legal Agreement.

Travel information was produced in different formats displaying developers’ branding. A short leaflet for the sales team covered the transport types available for travel to and from the development and referenced lifestyle options that reduce the need to travel. A map showed local amenities, walking distances, footpaths, cycle routes and nearby bus stops. A Travel Information Pack was produced for each new household providing full travel information including the health benefits of active travel, local amenities, bus services, including the voucher for a years’ free bus travel, train and coach services, more sustainable forms of car travel, working from home and linking trips and sources of further information. Travel information was also condensed onto a travel poster for display on-site.

Evidence was provided to the Council proving hard copies of the travel information had been supplied, and options for supply of the bus travel voucher were advised and administered.
