Guildford Town Centre Races move up a gear: Motion joins sponsors Hamptons International, Red Bull and Sigma Sports

Following postponement of the Guildford Town Centre Races in 2020, it is with great pleasure that Motion announces its support for one of the town’s major sporting events.  A previous highlight of the Guildford Fringe Festival, this year’s races will be fought out by some of the country’s top road racers on Wednesday 7 July.

Motion Managing Director, Phil Bell, says, “We are honoured to be supporting this key event in the Guildford sporting calendar, joining leading brands Red Bull, Hamptons International and Sigma Sports.  These races are renowned for being fast and furious.  I look forward to watching the spectacle as it flies past our Guildford headquarters.”

There will be six races around a gruelling town centre circuit which includes a climb up the cobbled High Street.  The event begins at 6:15pm with the very popular youth races, where many of the next generation of top cyclists get a taste of competing in cycling tournaments.
