Final phase secured for luxury waterside living

Phase 3 of the Brentford Lock West regeneration project has been approved, including proposals for 452 new homes, commercial and retail spaces, and new community facilities.  The scheme is part of a long-term plan to rejuvenate the west London location.  Transport and travel planning advice was provided by Motion for the award-winning development.

Senior Transport Planner Fiona Thorp reports, “We successfully demonstrated that the proposals would not be detrimental to the operation of the local highway network.  A new bridge across the Grand Union Canal will link the development to the Robin Grove Recreation Ground, improving connections to Brentford railway station for pedestrians and cyclists.”
